As a self-taught artist, the experience of making photographs is an ongoing opportunity to immerse in the present moment, with the option of returning and reflecting at another point in time.
The technical is continuously elusive, but I have learned to rely on intuition and curiosity, trusting how and what my eyes see, with the camera as conduit.
Sometimes it seems the camera and I are in sync, and the results align with my vision. Other times, it seems we are not. Either way, there is mystery, wonder, and sometimes contentment in what this partnership creates.
